Critical Alignment Therapy – CAT

Neck and back pain are commonplace these days. They often arise from poor posture or strain.

Yoga Nirmla specializes in addressing these complaints with a fresh perspective on the spine. A posture analysis can be very helpful in gaining insights, as poor posture can also cause various complaints. You’ll gain a better understanding of your spine and anatomy, and you’ll do targeted exercises to thoroughly address the cause of the complaint. A posture analysis provides insights into changing certain habits and thus developing a new, positive posture. This restores circulation to the area of pain, which in turn improves mobility. For severe complaints (persistent pain, hernia, etc.), it’s best to consider private sessions with customized exercises. Once your symptoms improve after a while, you can safely rejoin a beginners’ group.

  • Critical Alignment has made a big difference for me in my recovery. After my back surgery, I was looking for a safe way to give my back and nervous system confidence and strength again. The calm, thoughtful approach allowed me to learn to move again step by step without fear. What appeals to me most is the combination of gentleness and strength: the exercises are never forced, but enormously effective. I notice that my back gets stronger, my posture improves, and daily pain becomes more bearable. Sometimes I step into class with tension and discomfort, but leave with space and confidence. For me, this is not just yoga, but a way to truly support my body and mind in recovery. I am grateful to have discovered this form of yoga, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a safe path to stability, rest and strength in the back.
